As you can imagine it is not cheap to build a teardrop trailer, but if you consider the cost to DIY vs purchasing one, the savings are massive. YES, EVEN with the price of lumber out of control!

The difference in cost of wood materials from last year to now is roughly $200. That does not make it cheaper to “just go buy one”.However, you definitely should!
