Revisiting our one day build of a hardware storage system built for Harbor Freight Portable Parts Storage Case- this small parts organizer cabinet has helped me to organize small parts in my workshop.

I've used this organizer almost every day for 3-1/2 years and thought it was time to give an update. I think of this as a Sortimo storage system alternative. It was inspired by the popular Adam Savage Sortimo rack video and his one day builds. These are a less expensive alternative to Dewalt Tstak drawers or Sortimo T-Boxx. I've been using the 20, 15, & 8 bin parts storage cases for years but didn't have a good place to store them. I love the flexibility of these cases for small parts storage. You can organize parts by either function or project and mix and match different size bins between cases. This organizer will hold the 20 & 15 bin storage cases, and by removing shelves, can hold the 8 bin cases. This project has been a huge leap forward in organizing not just my parts, but my entire workshop.
