Is the new Nikon Z 30 the perfect camera for your YouTube or social media channel? I’d say YES if it didn’t overheat and shut down in less than 30 minutes when shooting 4K video.

In this video I show where the new Nikon Z30 fits in between a full-frame mirrorless camera, the Nikon Z 6, and a 4K point and shoot camera, the Sony ZV-1, and why it checks off so many beneficial features for social media content creators.

Nikon, if you’re listening, fix the 4K video overheating & shutting down record limitations and I’d buy the new Z 30 again in a heartbeat!

CORRECTION: In this video I say the Nikon Z6 can record 4K without a time limit, which is wrong. The recording time is limited to 29:59...but you can hit 'Record' again immediately and keep going. (I.e. It is not a thermal shutdown.) Sorry for any confusion!
