This video shows you a couple of hacks on how to draw using the grid method. With the help of a couple of new "friends", learn to improve your initial drawings when using the grid method simply by adopting my hacks. Too many times now, I've seen amateur artists using the grid method when their artistic skills have not been up to the task quite yet. Resulting in less than adequate drawings - especially with portraits of people. In order to maximise the chances of you producing a good likeness of the subject, the initial drawing needs to be accurate. If it isn't, you'll be constantly correcting errors and mistakes right from the beginning of the process - not an inspirational position to be in. Why not make things easier for yourself to start with? You'll then have the confidence and passion to continue your artwork to the finish line.
