Mobile device presentation of an augmented reality (ar) robot with an interactive software menu. The menu opens when clicking the main menu, the four sub menus then open up. Each menu has an icon attached and this activates the script attached. For this app the animation can be started and stopped, the model can be rotated (and stopped) over 360°, the materials can be changed and a technical diagram can be pulled up as scrollable image.

The augmented reality app is used on various mobile devices such as tablets and phones. An image is used to generate the model, once the image is recognized by the camera of a mobile device, the models appears.

This is a presentation for a full tutorial which shows how to build this augmented reality app from an engineering model (step / stl). The processed of model optimization, creating animations (using bones and inverse kinematics), creating textures, all in Blender, and exporting this are shown, The import of the mode, animation and material into Unity, designing the GUI (software menu), writing and attaching C# scripts is dealt with in the tutorial as well.
