In this video I’m using the Ego 56V Trimmer/Edger Multi-Head System for the first time. This is after 4 weeks of Florida summer growth. This is a vacant house I had been doing every few weeks for a friend. I’m only showing the trimming and edging, the mowing and blowing were done with commercial gas equipment.

Sorry I did’t get a better view of behind the edger for you. I was throughly checking it for a clean cut before proceeding though. I do back up and go over some areas again but I would normally do that with my gas edger (PE-225) here anyway. I did pull about 4 small runners of grass that the edger missed while I was blowing but that also is to be expected, even with my gas edger. Also, there’s nothing wrong with the wheel, I just never use the wheel on an edger.

I had not trimmed down the weeds growing in the cracks or the narrow side yard by the AC unit. That is why they are so overgrown. I waned to see what this could do. I was impressed with what it was able to get through.

The model number is MHC1502. I did a lot of research and this seemed like the best. After using it, I think it is the best. This was done all on one charge with the 5.0Ah battery. I’m not sure of the percentage left on the battery but the color based fuel gauge was still reading green at the end which signifies at least 15% was left.

I did not buy these for myself. I picked these out for my mom, and I’m trying them out. She wanted to get more exercise by mowing her own lawn. I do not recommend these for commercial use. The power output is actually okay, but the endless runtime of gas is necessary for me. I do however highly recommend them to any home owner.

Update 7/17/22

I want to reiterate that this is the attachment series. It’s not the foldable string trimmer with the motor at the bottom. I would recommend the attachment series over the foldable model because it’s more balanced and versatile. It’s motor is at the top and it turns a driveshaft that will run and edger attachment as well as several others. If you get the foldable string trimmer with no driveshaft, it will be bottom heavy and string trimming is all it will ever be able to do.

Sorry about how loud the video is. This was my first ever video and I didn’t know what I was doing. I’m just now starting to get serious about YouTube. Check out some of my newer videos if you’re inclined.
