It's been roughly 3 months since the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was announced. As a photographer, what differentiates flagships from one another is really the camera system. And since this is the top of the line flagship from Samsung, it should have the best cameras right? Well it's not that simple. Especially since they removed the 10X lens from the S23 Ultra and "upgraded" to a 5X lens this year.

In this video, we will walk through the streets of NYC, visit a food hall, rooftop park, as well as Little Island to put this camera system to the test. There is also a ton of comparison shots against the Pixel 8 Pro as well as social media examples from Snapchat and Instagram. Lastly we will dive into Lightroom to pixel peep at some 10x shots and see how they stack up against the optical lens from the S23 Ultra.
