I have taken a new spy video of the new Opel Grandland during first tests on the public road. The second generation of the compact SUV will be built on the new Stellantis STLA medium platform and offered as a purely battery-electric version. Other electrified powertrains such as PHEVs are also expected to be available. The Opel Grandland shares the new platform with the Peugeot 3008, which has an electric range of around 700 kilometers. The range of the new electric Opel Grandland is likely to be similar.
Production is scheduled to start in the second half of 2024.
