In this video a Sonic 45 Compact silencer is subjected to a total of 100 shots of 5,56 in less than 40 seconds. The initial smoke seen is originating both from the barrel and the silencer due to the immense heat production from this rate of fire. Though the aluminum part of the silencer does seem to be deteriorating towards the end, it must be said that it certainly seems to hold surprisingly well!

This video is one of four short clips from a recent test of two of our silencers: the Ghost 50 and the Sonic 45 Compact.
The Ghost 50 is a new lightweight silencer made with an innertube of aluminum for maximal reduction in weight and is as such designed for moderate use, e.g. a few shots fired during hunting, due to the less resilient nature of aluminum.
The Sonic 45 Compact is in essence the same as a Sonic 45, the only difference is a significantly shorter extension over the barrel in order to accommodate rifles such as carbines.

In the test both silencers are each subjected to four magazines of twenty 7,62 (Cal .308 Win) shots from an M75 and four magazines with 10 + 30 + 30 + 30 shots of 5,56 from an M95
