Tom Holland has only voiced a handful of animated projects, mostly movies, but he does have one cute-as-can-be piggie commercial he voiced once upon a time. He’s done voice acting in both his own British accent and American, depending on the project. Despite the importance of authentic accents in Spies in Disguise, it was important for his character to have an American accent. He also used his American accent in ONWARD. Which is fair, he was acting across from Chris Pratt who is American and it would be odd to have to brothers with different accents who grew up together. You could maybe excuse it if Tom’s character grew up watching Peppa Pig. For Tom’s role of Ian Lightfoot, he took inspiration from someone close to him. Which, that isn’t the only time he’s taken inspiration. He also finds his dog, Tessa, is a good muse for a character. In Dolittle, Tom plays a dog named Pip. This is one of those times he got to use his own British accent and it coming out of the mouth of a dog is just so cute! Tom is quite the physical voice actor. He talks a lot with his hands. Tom Holland and Tom Hardy have appeared in several movies together but their characters have never physically met. Strange, right? And on the topic of not being in the same space, Tom never even met one of his costars until after the movie had premiered, where the two of them engaged in an escape room. That’s a high-pressure way to say hello! Check it out!
