A volcano in Iceland that erupted last month for the fourth time since December continues to spew smoke and bright orange lava. Icelandic Civil Protection released a video on Monday showing the volcano crater and the active lava field to the south of the crater. It said the lava did not spread much and that there was still an active lava flow to the south, a delta-like lava sequence on top of the lava field formed in the first few days of the eruption on March 16.

Man-made barriers have been successful in steering the lava away from infrastructure including the Svartsengi geothermal power plant and Grindavik, a fishing town of some 4,000 residents.
