This week was more of the pushing, pulling, dragging and lifting gigantic beams from one place to another. It is hard and sometimes scary work, but so insanely rewarding. I never thought I'd embrace the mens oversized clothes and constantly smelling like chainsaw gas and sawdust, but here we are!

Were there questionable methods and sketchy antics, obviously yes. 😂 But we made it through another week and are one step closer to finishing this treehouse platform! We can't wait to be able to serve and bless anyone who chooses to come stay here. (We were already talking about beds, furniture and decor last night! EEK!)

Big thanks to the kids for always helping us, too! Whether it's cleaning up and stacking wood, helping debark logs, pull beams, or cook dinner (yes, they even cook!) We are so grateful for them!
With all that work, we have to make time for play, too. So we got to enjoy the weather before it got too warm! Snowmen, a big bonfire, a long walk on the lake, snowmobiling around the property, etc. We continue to enjoy every moment of this mild winter, and try not to take any of it for granted!
