Classic Design, a CONVERGIX Automation Solutions company, developed a completely automated blank welding process to increase our customer’s output. The current process requires an operator to load one blank and patch at a time. This new system will allow the customer to load approximately 300 sets of blanks and patches in one pin pallet, then load the pallet to the cell. Then weld the patches to the blanks and drop the finished parts at a cycle time of approximately 60 seconds.
