Whenever I make chicken in my Instant pot, we can never eat the entire chicken. I've tried freezing the extra amounts, but they tend to get lost in the freezer. HA HA!
So now I'm just going to make the chicken and use the Presto Digital Canner to preserve them by canning them in mason jars. This way I can save on freezer space and separate out by chicken stock, chicken soup and then chicken meat.
It's a great way of doing small batch canning and still maximizing it. Any excess broth, I freeze. Any extra carrots - I just put in a small container and my husband ate it later - the LOVES cooked carrots.
