She Caught Her BIGGEST Fish - Sight Fishing The Flats
In this video, we go sight fishing the flats for big fish, and she caught her biggest fish! Jessica my girlfriend has been wanting to get on the water to caught big fish recently, so today was the perfect opportunity. @Saltyscales and I have been sight fishing the flats lately for cobia and redfish. Using a tower boat really helps when you're looking for these fish in the clear water. The boat helps you see the fish from almost a mile away. Jessica has never caught a cobia and was pumped to do so. I personally think that sight fishing is one of the most exciting ways to fish. It's you the water and the fish. By the end of the day, your eyes are tired from glassing the water. Inshore saltwater fishing for big fish can be challenging because the fish are under pressure a lot. We knew the odds were in our favor though, we got on the water early to glass for fish that were pushing in with the tides. High tide was coming in a couple hours. Remember this is Florida fishing, so when we have this cool spring weather where the sun is high and keeps the water war, the fish are moving all over the flats! Cobia fishing with a tower is something that I have really come to enjoy, and it's some of the most exciting inshore fishing you can do. Artificial bait was the way to go today, we have been having success on the Down South lures shade and the biospawn swimbait, so of course, we had to stick with them!
