This Herbert Paul Schmeck designed double out-and-back wooden coaster originally opened in 1947 as Rocket at Playland Park in San Antonio, Texas, where it operated until 1980. The ride was moved to Pennsylvania in June, 1985 at a relocation and reassembly cost of $1.5 million. Don't let its 78 foot (24m) height and top speed of 45 mph (72 km/h) fool you, this coaster is an ejector air-time machine.
Knoebels Amusement Park and Resort is located in Elysburg, Pennsylvania.
