On March 30, 2015, the first piece of legislation ever signed by Gov. Larry Hogan made today Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day in the state of Maryland. Hospice of the Chesapeake played an integral role in making this happen. It is our mission to bring hope and healing to the men and women who have served in the military and realized recognition for the service and sacrifices of our Vietnam War Veterans was long overdue. For another year, we cannot be together in this commemoration. But we are together in the spirit of they day. We join our President and CEO Mike Brady in wishing you hope and healing.
