Dr. Anthony Baroud, DMD, 26, also known as @DentalDigest, gives us an exclusive tour of his newest 5,000 square foot video production studio in Chicago, IL where he's recording his latest YouTube videos.

Anthony grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, specifically Prospect Heights, and loved watching YouTube creators such as @casey and @mkbhd, not knowing that he himself would become a YouTuber one day.

Anthony had trouble in school as a kid, dealing with dyslexia and ADHD, so reading never came easy for him. But he learned to discover this later in his life and tap into his creative side to think about producing content for YouTube while going to dental school.

Dental Digest started in September 2020 and quickly rose in popularity, thanks to the creation of YouTube Shorts. Anthony gained over 1 million subscribers in one week from a viral short he created showcasing disclosing tablets that help with cleaning your teeth. Now, he has over 14 million subscribers that watch his dental content product reviews.

Anthony received his DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) degree from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2023 all the while maintaining the Dental Digest channel. He has over $500,000 in student loan debt and plans to pay them off with his earnings from YouTube. He also plans to open his own dental practice in the future near the Chicago area.

Anthony recently rented out a studio that features 2 areas to record footage, one being a green screen room, and an audio booth to record all of his sound effects. All the sound effects he uses in his videos are created in the booth by him and his team. He also has plans to turn his diamond play button into a diamond toothbrush for a future video on his channel.
