good evening everyone :)

today I am sharing the monologue I worked on in my last video which I performed at my National Youth Theatre casting day audition.

I had originally played around with doing this speech in quite a few different ways with different intentions, some higher energy and others more sombre. I decided that I would share a more energetic and fun version as something a bit different to the other monologues I've posted on here before!

This speech is from the play Eight by Ella Hickson and I am performing as Astrid. The play is made up of eight 15 minute monologues all focusing on a generation that has grown up in a world where everything has become acceptable. We meet Astrid in her bedroom as she returns home to her boyfriend having slept with another man...
