With real, made-for-aircraft gas turbine engines aboard, an aluminum shell, and a state of the art tilting system, this was supposed to be the future of fast trains in North America.
But after a troubled launch event, ongoing mechanical problems and rising oil prices, the future wasn’t so bright after all.
