If you're new to my Youtube page, HELLO! I'm Bianca Jade and I'm a new homeowner (among many other things). Welcome to my page where I talk about all things health, wellness and urban living, and now most recently "home decor" and "DIY living" since moving into my new place where there's still so much to do! I've been furnishing my new home using my stylistic approach of combining modern and eclectic decor. I discovered Hoek Home (pronounced as "hook") through a friend, and now I'm (forgive the pun) totally hooked. Hoek Home is modern furniture that's sustainable and recycled from plastic, using locally sourced wood. They're a riveting home furnishing brand combining modern technology and traditional carpentry techniques. I love what they stand for and decided to make this video when they invited me to their workshop headquarters in Red Hook, Brooklyn NY. In my opinion, people who build companies that help our planet become more sustainable and healthy really deserve a shout out! But their pieces are also in my home, and I couldn't be more in love with my Home Office Desk and living room Side Tables. I literally watched them get made in front of me.
