This is a newer Tidewater Teddy version of my old documentary about the American black bears (Ursus americanus) in Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge. Dare County, North Carolina is a bastion for American black bears that is hidden in plain sight. Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge hosts one of the largest concentrations of black bears on the U.S. east coast. In this video, I’ll go looking for these bears on an American safari.
