Meet Avi Knotts, founder of Avi I.T. Inc. and student at #TempleUniversity. As a Black, disabled female from an underprivileged household, Avi knows exactly what it’s like to face barriers to technological education and advancement.

Her mission is to “establish a foundation for computer science education among all backgrounds and experiences, in order to mitigate the diversity gap in the computer science field and alleviate the digital divide.”

Avi I.T. has grown on an international scale and is currently partnering with the Upendo United Foundation to build a trade/technical school in Nakuru, Kenya.

Winner of our 2023 #OZYGenius Awards in partnership with AT&T, Avi joins 11 other geniuses from across the country, all working to change the world.
