Survivor visits Tornado Alley in the United States which has one of the highest strike rates in the world with over eight hundred tornadoes a year. Tornado Alley spans from Texas to Nebraska straight in the path of the hard mid-Pacific High-Pressure Range. 'Tornadoes' charts the Fujita measurement of tornado strength from F Zero to F Five. An F One will take the branch off a tree, and F Two will take the whole tree. A F Five will wipe out a whole township, leaving little more than the foundations of the buildings. 300 mph winds destroy everything in their path. On the 27th of May 1997, an F-Five hit the small town of Jarrell, near Austin Texas. This is their story.
