The Toyota GR Yaris is a car that shouldn’t exist. Why? Well, for starters, the WRC model it’s supposed to be based on has been canned. Meaning that Toyota has spent millions of pounds and man hours on a performance variant with a totally different chassis to its everyday sibling. It’s also got a unqiue engine, different body parts, three doors instead of five and an AWD drivetrain – all things designed to make it the ultimate drivers hot-hatch.
