Hey! This is a longer episode, so that I can show you all of the engine rebuild assemble process. I time-lapsed a good portion of it , but made sure I described the essential things I came across. This is a Ford 2.3L engine that ford used in a lot of different cars including the Thunderbird TurboCoupe, the Mustang SVO, and who could forget the Pinto? These are good engines that were configured in a lot of different ways. Mine had lived on a farm, and saw a LOT of use. The cylinders were wallered out, the head was all cracked, and it was just plain worn out. But now with all new machining, a new head, over-sized pistons, and a new coat of Ford Red paint, it will live and thrive for many years to come.
