In this Indonesia Travel Vlog, we head from Bali to Nusa Penida. Nusa Penida is one of the most gorgeous islands in the world! We took the ferry from Bali to Nusa and stayed at the amazing https://www.agoda.com/partners/partne...
When we woke up we had breakfast at the hotel and rented a motorbike from there for only 70,000 Rp! We decided to start our day exploring Nusa Penida by driving to Diamond Beach on the opposite side of the island. Carles had been to Nusa Penida before so he knew that the roads weren't the best...however we were surprised that the roads on Nusa Penida weren't bad! When we arrived at Diamond Beach there was a hug, busy parking lot. What we weren't prepared for was the scary walk down to the beach!!! The stairs were very busy and very steep, without a lot of safety measures! When we arrived at the bottom of Diamond Beach it was gorgeous and absolutely worth it! From Diamond beach we drove 45 minutes to Manta Point - which is the most amazing viewpoint where you can look down at the crystal clear water to see the huge manta rays swimming with people! It's a little difficult to find as you have to drive down an abandoned looking road to park next to a temple...then walk alongside the temple and through the bushes until you arrive at the viewpoint. However it was totally worth it to see the huge manta rays from above! When we left we stopped by the Manta Point Bar & Resto for some amazing Indonesian Food!!! It was so good and we definitely recommend stopping here if you make it to Manta Point. Next was the famous Klingking Beach. It was the busiest place we went to in Nusa Penida. Not only were there so many motorbikes, there were SO many tourists and the stairs to get down to Klingking were so full of people. Apparently the most popular thing to do on Nusa Penida is take a picture with the T-rex beach. When we left we headed to Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong (which share a parking lot). We were shocked to see girls swimming at Angel's Billabong as it's supposed to be super dangerous! (If you YouTube search Angel's Billabong you can see so many videos of people getting destroyed by the surprise waves). Luckily nothing really bad happened when we were there. We continued walking along to Broken Beach - the beach with crystal clear blue water that has a bridge going over it. After there it was time to head home. But we had the most amazing day exploring all of Nusa Penida on a motorbike (although it would have been much better without all the tourists)!
