For some time now, Staex has been developing a network tailored for IoT devices incapable of supporting VPN. We have just launched a public network with a free tier.

This network allows you to securely and selectively share your devices without exposing their real IP addresses and encrypt the traffic for legacy protocols. The network is compatible with any IP-based device: EV chargers, drones, IP cameras, low-end routers (that can’t run a VPN), smart lights, smart TVs etc.

Our goal is to provide a simple and secure by default way of communication for IoT devices without the complications of installing a VPN, configuring DNS, DNAT and port forwarding. This would accelerate the development of your IoT solution as you no longer need to think about low-level networking details.

We also want this public network to become a bridge between web2 and web3. This makes it possible to use web3 services — compute, storage, distributed ledgers, distributed identifiers — without the need for a company to have a crypto wallet.
