Roundtables are back! Tune in Monday, May 23rd for the premiere of The Hollywood Reporter’s 2016 Emmy Roundtable season, and every day after for new Roundtable videos. Who do you want to see on this season’s Roundtables? Tell us in the comments below!

THR's executive director Matthew Belloni talks comedy, character, and corruption in the Oscar nominated film, 'The Big Short', with writer Michael Lewis and director Adam McKay as well as three of the film's stars: Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell, and Christian Bale.

“You’re rooting for these guys. They’re like us. They’re outsiders." Adam McKay explains why he was originally drawn to adapt Michael Lewis' book for the big screen.

"The people that take the short position in wall street, they don't look healthy. It actually takes a toll on you because you're betting against the hope of the future. It's a really, hard uncomfortable position to be against the mainstream," 'The Big Short' director and co-screenwriter Adam McKay says on The Hollywood Reporter In Focus. McKay also explains how Dr. Michael Burry, portrayed in the film by Christian Bale, developed health problems which dissipated after he changed positions.
