If you're looking to practice your languages, then this is a really great tool for developing your oral skills. In this video, I'm actually going to focus on two technologies. We have tested a whole range of these speaking bots, and the two that I'm going to show you are very impressive. The reason that I'm focusing on these two speaking bots is that a they offer multiple languages, and B they offer a free option so you can immediately try and use them. In fact, these speaking bots that I'm going to show you today. Don't even require you to sign in. So you can literally just start using them straight away. The great thing about speaking bots is that they give you the opportunity to actually practice speaking the language that you want to learn. But not only that, of course, you get the chance to listen to what the bot says to you. So it's actually a speaking and listening type of activity where you can develop your vocabulary. I've been using these bots now for a number of months, and one thing I've noticed is that if you prepare a particular topic that you want to speak about before speaking to the bot, then it can make the actual practice much more interesting. So. So for example, in my, uh, video today, you'll see that I am practicing speaking Polish, and I prepared a discussion on or prepared some work about Polish education before I started speaking to the bot. And that way I had some vocabulary and some language ready to use. Another thing that's interesting about some of these speaking bots is that they allow you to repeat and play back what you've already heard. So if you didn't understand the first time, you can play back and listening a second time. The bots that I'm going to show you have all got a free option. And they also provide feedback, though I think you'll find the feedback is only available in the free option. There are many of these speaking bots available to practice languages, but I think the two that I'm going to show you today are particularly interesting.
