Welcome to another episode of DESIGN BOOKS IN 7 MINUTES, where I try to summarize some of the best books I’ve read in the fields of UI, UX, and product design in 7 minutes or less (sorry this episode is more than 8 😬).

Today's book is John Maeda's book, The Laws of Simplicity, which was published back in 2006. This is definitely an older book, but there are some interesting ways to view simplicity presented in this book. Although the world of design and technology has evolved quite a bit since 2006, it's amazing how many concepts and ideas from Maeda's book are still relevant in today's world.

Note that find this book a little "fluffy" and vague, but I found a lot of great gems and takeaways that help me frame the work I do as a designer and make sure I design experiences that are simple to use.
