Scott Drew, the 2x Big 12 Basketball Coach of the Year and head coach of the Baylor Bears, joins Jordan Schultz to talk about Baylor's recent success, including winning their first-ever Big 12 Men's regular season title and first conference championship since 1950. Drew discusses measuring success by relationships with former players like Cory Jefferson, and his thoughts on players like Cade Cunningham, and Baylor's Final Four goals. He goes into the process of rebuilding Baylor's men's basketball program after taking over in 2003 in the middle of a scandal-ridden season. He speaks on how those early years impacted him as a leader, and delves into his journey from assistant coach for his father Homer Drew at Valparaiso University to where he is today. He also talks about his role models, like former LSU coach Dale Brown, who taught him about what it means to be a coach.
