In Part 2 of our San Francisco food tour, the family and I venture to Izakaya Rintaro for dinner. Out of all of our reservations, I was perhaps the most excited for the one at Izakaya Rintaro. The reviews were almost universally glowing and you all know what a glutton I am for good sushi and Japanese fare in general. In perusing the menu offerings, I was happy to see that Rintaro offered both raw and cooked dishes so the little ones could enjoy their time as well. Perhaps all of this hype and build-up created unrealistic expectations but I always go into new restaurants with an open mind and empty stomach. Lets see if Izakaya Rintaro lived up to all of the buzz.
