Short film to showcase the Casting My Future 360 degree virtual foundry tour.
This is part of a pilot project, funded by the Foundry Training Trust, to showcase careers in the castings industry to young people and their teachers, parents etc.
Filmed in two local West Midlands foundries, the 360 tour will be shown to school children in around 10 schools, as part of careers and stem programmes.
This project builds upon the Foundry in a Box kit that is already being used by foundries around the UK as part of outreach engagement with their local schools to raise awareness of the industry and encourage young people to consider careers in manufacturing and engineering.
