Just a quick one - power equipment is easy to do yourself with just a few basic tools and a couple inexpensive parts. This cost me less than $15 for the filter, plug, and oil. Any 4 cycle equipment can be maintained with these instructions with little differences. Even large ride-on mowers are the same - just replace the oil filter too. Keep your equipment well maintained every year and it'll last you much longer. In this video, I use my Troy-Bilt TB240 with a Honda GCV160 engine. Not sponsored - it was just the cheapest honda powered, self-propelled mower I could buy. I recommend servicing with OEM parts when available. Generic replacements will work fine though. Spark plug should be fine for 2-3 seasons for homeowner use, everything else should be annual.
