Even from a distance, I could already sense the age of the tunnel. A flashlight is necessary because it's extremely dark inside, and luckily, we had brought one with us. As soon as we entered, it sent shivers down my spine. Aside from the darkness, it's quite cold inside the tunnel and you can hear the dripping water from above. The ambiance inside this tunnel is quite different, especially after learning the history of it. I wish I could slow down my pace but I couldn't because there were other travelers behind me wanting to traverse the tunnel as well. Overall, the experience in the Japanese Tunnel in Botanical Garden of Baguio City is a unique blend of historical exploration and a touch of the paranormal. When you visit this underground relic, you'll step back in time and delve into the wartime history of the tunnel, which was originally built during World War II. As you walk through the narrow, dimly lit passages of this Japanese Tunnel during world War 2, you can almost feel the weight of history surrounding you. The tunnel is known for its eerie and haunting atmosphere, and it's said to be the home of numerous ghostly encounters and unexplained phenomena. Visitors have reported seeing apparitions, hearing voices when no one is around, and feeling sudden chills or a sense of dread. These elements add an extra layer of intrigue to the experience. It's a journey that offers a mix of historical insight and the thrill of the unknown, making it a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and those intrigued by the paranormal. The experience is both educational and spine-tingling, offering a chance to connect with the past while pondering the mysteries that linger within the depths of Baguio's Japanese Tunnel in the Philippines.
