Part 2 of the avionics upgrade on my 1980 172! This C172 is a P model, with the Lycoming O-320.

It’s going to be fitted with a brand new, touchscreen Garmin GTN650 and two GI275’s for the attitude indicator and HSI.

This little video looks at the hardware itself, which will be fitted as part of the avionics upgrade.

In addition to the GPS, it will also have a new Garmin GTR225 flip flop comm.
