Last night I met a couple of my friends we sat down and we ate some steaks and instead of just joking around laughing and eating mindlessly we decided we’re going to sit down and share a bit about our lives talk a bit about what’s going on who we really are who we used to be, and who we hope to be. In Asia, it’s not very common for men to build such strong bonds, possibly because of the way, we perceive our father figures to be strong, unattended, and not a place to be vulnerable and share. So last night was a really special opportunity for us where we could sit down, share our experience strength, and our hopes with one another. We sat for an hour and shared our hearts out, showing that we are just human. We held space for one another, listening and holding us accountable to our future desires, and dreams. I am blessed that I could experience this last night. I’m grateful for all the brothers in my life, some wounds only men can heal.
