In this tutorial we will show you how to engrave, mill and cut acrylic plastic with the 3018 CNC. This guide applies for most compact CNC mills / budget CNC. We are going to make our own Raspberry Pi Zero case.

When cutting and engraving acrylics it is important to use the correct tools (bits), materials and feed rate.

The 3018 is small CNC engraver / cutter. It can engrave and cut a surface of 340x160x40mm.
