How To Turn the Promise of People-Centric Healthcare Into Reality?

Due to the aging population and increase in the prevalence of lifestyle-driven diseases, healthcare systems around the world are under huge financial pressure. At the same time, health tech solutions are being adopted across different countries and different social groups very unevenly. What are the bottlenecks (besides technology) that prevent new solutions from widespread use? We shall discuss the critical elements of digitizing key clinical pathways and increasing health data interoperability.

He has advised several other startups in the therapeutics space on fundraising, IP protection, and clinical trial strategies. Since 2018, he has led the medical tech startup Longenesis. He was named Forbes Latvia's 30 Under 30 in Technology and healthcare in 2020.

Silja Elunurm is a curious legal professional with +20 years of experience in legal areas related to technology and innovation. She has been a member of the Estonian Bar as a qualified attorney since 2004. She is Head of Regulatory and Legal in MedTech company Migrevention. Before joining Migrevention she was Head of Secondary Data Use in the upTIS (next generation national health information system) project in the Ministry of Social Affairs and Head of Legal for the Estonian personalized medicine development project. She believes that law should be an enabler, not a hindrance.

Erki Mõlder has been involved in healthcare and life sciences for over twenty years, starting from 1999, when he grew Quattromed, growing it into the biggest regional laboratory. Since then, Erki has invested in the healthcare business models of today and tomorrow. Erki is the founder of the HealthTech-related business accelerator Health Founders.
