This 25th episode of CHAT NEWS (produced by Respectful Revolution) covers the most recent addition to the Chico Housing Action Team's programs: MERCY HOUSE, a residence set up for persons with chronic health conditions who were homeless. This house exists thanks to the generosity of Pastor Ben Colahan at Faith Lutheran Church in Chico and his mother. Listen to the testimony of two ladies who do not fit clichés of "what a homeless person should look like". Due to the exorbitant cost of housing in the U.S. today, even people who've worked all their lives can end up on the street when the right wrong set of circumstances hit.
