A high pressure oil pump from CB Performance allows me to run lines to my external oil filter housing. The VW Bug never had a traditional oil filter, instead it was designed with only a screen to sift the oil before sucking it back through the engine. I feel much safer driving the Bug around now that my oil isn't continually damaging the essential components of my engine!
