It is a strange feeling to hold something so absolutely ancient in your hands. The Ammonite had a long run on this planet, starting around 250 million years ago, up to around 65 million years ago. A piece like this has traveled so far to end up in my hands. I tried out a lot of different techniques to create this holder/display, and I love how it turned out. This was a focus on creating organic shapes, and an overall "underwater" aesthetic. I hope you enjoy.
