A 2017 Toyota Corolla four door sedan was impacted from the rear by a 1357 kg moving barrier at a velocity of 80 km/h (50 mph).

There was no fuel system fluid spillage following the impact. The maximum vehicle longitudinal crush was 740 mm of which the average was 588 mm. The vehicle appeared to comply with all the requirements of FMVSS No. 301 "Fuel System Integrity."
