SpaceX is gearing up for the March 2024 launch of Starship S28, elegantly positioned on B10. In celebration of this momentous IFT-3 event, GooDesign proudly unveils the enhanced Starship model. Crafted with inspiration drawn from images generously provided by SpaceX and other skilled photographers, this model reflects a meticulous attention to detail.

The standout feature of this model, setting it apart from its predecessors, lies in the deliberate separation of the 'assembly version' and the 'launch version.' This distinction arises from the dynamically evolving exterior of the S28 during the rigorous testing and stacking phases. The launch version captures the S28's latest configuration just before liftoff, immortalized in photographs taken in March 2024. In contrast, the assembly version delves deeper into intricate details, showcasing elements like the rings utilized in the movement of S28 during assembly and ground testing.

Immerse yourself in the intricacies of this model, savoring the finer details, and join me in hoping for the success of the IFT-3 launch—a moment that promises to propel space exploration to new heights.

Improvements from the SN11

1. The wing panels were printed upright, resulting in a more detailed representation.
2. Enhancements made to parts that were prone to breakage in the engine.

Differences from Launch version

1. There are no logos like S28 or X. .
2. Hooks for assembly are installed.
3. You can create a scene of sending out a Star link satellite by removing the Pez dispenser cover.

Assembly Tips

Watch the instructional video before assembling, as there is a possibility of incorrect assembly or potential damage to printed parts, especially due to the delicate Silk Silver filament.

1. When attaching the lower wing panel, press it upward while applying. If the panel descends, the floor may not be level.
2. You have to assemble the small bottom side and top side silver parts before the front parts.
3. Due to the small size of the logo component, be mindful to avoid misplacement.
4. Be careful when removing the support from the place for the pez dispenser to avoid breakage.
5. The rear ring parts are all different, so attach them according to the printed layout.
6. You have to assemble the small middle black part before the silver parts.

Please enjoy the improved model's details, and I hope the IFT-3 launch is successful, marking a significant leap in space exploration.
