Is the Mercedes SLK a good car and should I buy one? Also, when is it too soon to put the roof down on a convertible?

I travelled to Cornwall from Windsor in the 200 AMG Class convertible version from car sharing platform, Turo, on a long distance road review to find out.

During the trip I looked into the practical features of the SLK, the long journey nature of the car, whether you should go for the manual or automatic, whether you should own the SLK and, importantly, when's too early to put the roof down on a convertible.
