In 2020, Burger King released one of their most controversial commercials of all time. Instead of showing off its signature Whopper in a mouth-watering fashion, they took the complete opposite route. They showed their Whopper growing mold over a 33-day timelapse as a way to prove that they don't use artificial preservatives. This stunt goes against all of the rules of fast food advertising, but did it work?
