5 Mods I’d Do to Cars But NEVER to Motorcycles! Ok, so let me explain the title. Obviously I don’t mean putting literal Car Designed Modifications on Motorcycles, that wouldn’t work. Unless your super determined, but regardless, I mean like mods that I am culturally attracted to/have been generally accepted in the car community. In truth, most of these mods are accepted in the motorcycle community, probably more so than they are in the car community…it’s just that something about them I…can’t seem to find myself willing to mod, DESPITE having done them to cars.
A general trend you’ll see through out my Motorcycle Modding Career so far, is that I choose to do repairs/quality of life mods first, then mod performance as the main priority, with cosmetics at the bottom of the ladder, I literally don’t care. It’s the total opposite of me with cars, where it took me 5 years to put my Mustang on Coilovers, Sway Bars, Larger Radiator and all this other Jazz I’m going to list. And a solid 3 years before I actually started to performance mod my Z06. Meanwhile my FXDR within 4 months I’m already throwing on cams, forged internals, high compression pistons, better oil pump, better scavenging gear, new pushrods, Comp Ramps, and still more planned. Even my Supercub, bro I’m planning on putting a 181cc Big Bore Kit, cam, forged piston, on a freaking scooter by the way, imagine my Scooter having Forged Internals while some car guys still be lacking. It’s what you momma always said, it’s what’s on the inside that counts and she definitely meant forged internals, don’t you ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
