Marko Hollerer has been a zeppelin pilot for three years. For the first time he is flying over Frankfurt. Today there is another highlight - that no other zeppelin pilot has been allowed to do before him. The 37-year-old is allowed to fly very close to the airport. Air traffic controllers in the tower direct Marko Hollerer and his airship over the north-west runway and along the terminals. A unique experience also for the 14 passengers on board. The Austrian then steers the zeppelin over the Frankfurt skyline. This is the most exciting flight he has ever had, says Marko Hollerer. We flew with them and got fascinating photos of Frankfurt, the airport and the Taunus.

We also accompany the security service in search of dangerous objects. You are looking for things that have no business in a passenger plane. Items that could be used in a kidnapping or assassination attempt, such as weapons, knives, or explosives. The security staff at the Airlines Services Agency want to avoid that. The Frankfurt-based company has 120 employees, all of whom are trained in accordance with the strict rules of the Federal Aviation Office, the EU and weapons and explosives experts. We accompanied the teams exclusively during searches and training.
