The Valley of Despair represents our natural response to change. It is that place through which we must journey in which we feel bad about what we’ve lost, and uncertain about what’s to come, and the lies we tell ourselves and others along the way.

The hardest part about leading teams through the Valley of Despair is telling the truth, setting expectations, and making sure your people understand that feeling uncomfortable is normal.
